My name is Romain Bayle,
I'm a photographer, digital matte painter, and spoon carver living on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada.
This blog, Natural Spoon, has been created to share with you my passion for hand carved wooden items and photography.
Made using only hand tools (knife, axe, saw, a bit of sanding paper...) with wood gathered from broken trees found while walking the beautiful forest of the West Coast.
Each spoon is unique, following the natural grain of the wood and finished with natural mineral oil and bee wax.
